Who Is UrbanSawn?
UrbanSawn designs and builds custom built ins, furniture, and woodwork with urban function and sensibilities in mind. We work directly with clients or designers to create the projects that fit your needs. Many Philadelphia urban row homes were built in another century with other priorities that lead to a lot of unused nooks and areas. One of UrbanSawn's specialties is to address those spaces and make an unused area usable. Other urban homes are in converted factories and warehouses that require custom cabinets and other woodwork that reflects its' history and function. Our cabinets and furniture are created using a mixture of reclaimed and newer milled lumber that correspond with different clients' budgets and tastes. We develop a working relationship with each client so that we can deliver a piece that is both functional and beautiful. All of our projects are handcrafted in Philadelphia.
